Northern Trust Releases Blockchain Solution for Private Equity
Private equity firms can use the blockchain solution to open, manage, and administer funds.
The blockchain—built on the back of the Hyperledger Fabric—will be used by Geneva, Switzerland-based private equity Unigestion to manage the administration of a fund. Unigestion has $20 billion in assets under management and is the first client to use the solution.
