Trade Alert Readies New Analytics

Trade data analytics start-up Trade Alert is beta testing new functionality to identify trends and trading strategies based on trading activity on US options exchanges, as part of its Instant Messenger-based service, officials tell Inside Market Data.
The New York-based vendor is testing a new sweeps and temporal analysis function that "puts trades back together." The tool identifies larger trades that have been split up across multiple tickets—and even exchanges—to hide their size and minimize
