Reuters, Aether Systems’ Sila Communications To Manage European Services
WIRELESS APPLICATIONS
LONDON--The wireless data services joint venture between Reuters and Aether Systems, dubbed Sila Communications, was officially launched last week, offering Reuters data independent of any network or mobile device in Europe and Asia.
Sila will host, design and manage services for customers through wireless data centers throughout Europe. The company will offer wireless access to corporate information, Reuters content, Internet information and applications, e-mail and secure transaction
