PHLX Seeks Rule: Vendors Must Show All Options Exchanges

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), voicing concerns that market data vendors are excluding smaller exchanges' prices from their feeds, filed a petition with the Securities and Exchange Commission requesting that the commission extend its so-called Vendor Display Rule (VDR) to cover listed options. The proposed rule change would require data vendors to display the best bids and offers on listed options from all of the five U.S. options exchanges -- either through a consolidated price display
