Market data vendors have been under fire lately from users who complain of inaccurate price reporting service during the stock market's recent swings. When the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 80 points last Tuesday, some older Automatic Data Processing Inc. terminals broke down for intervals of several minutes, as they had the week before, sources at brokerages say. And on the morning of Oct. 16, Quotron Systems Inc. terminals widely misreported the Dow Jones Industrial Average for 13 minutes
