Soft Dollaring Still Spurring Debate

The UK and US regulatory authorities are keeping the market in suspense over whether they will recommend banning soft commissions after proposing such changes last year.
However, in April the UK’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) will release feedback to the UK market on the issues of soft commissions and bundling of research, which could result in regulatory changes by the end of this year.
