NEW YORK--The Securities Industry Association is developing a list of questions for broker/dealers and banks to use to determine when the products they rely on will be ready for the Year 2000. The SIA will publish the questions on its Web site in two to three weeks, and hopes vendors will post their answers to the questions on their own Web sites.

Two subcommittees of the SIA's Year 2000 steering committee are developing questions for their constituents: the data and service providers
