Abbey Financial Markets (AFM), the treasury trading arm of UK banking group Abbey, is consolidating its traders on Bloomberg as part of a new single-vendor data policy.
The initial changes cover around 100 front-office users at AFM. All but nine traders—who have more complex data requirements—have been migrated. The nine will be moved by the end of July. Planning for the move began in January, followed by a period of analysis. Implementation began in May.
