Reuters is focusing on credit content and transaction services in its quest to improve its position in fixed income, says Tim Mercer, Reuters’ director of Treasury and Fixed Income, who spoke exclusively to Inside Market Data.
Mercer says the vendor’s goal is to provide high-value content and make it easily accessible throughout an enterprise, while offering a transactions service to create a virtuous circle between good quality real-time information and providing liquidity to the marketplace.
