The indexes, developed in partnership with risk consultancy Conflict Securities Advisory Group, are designed to give investors access to investment vehicles that exclude companies with operations in countries whose governments are deemed by the US State Department to sponsor terrorist operations. Currently, the indexes exclude companies that operate in Iran, Sudan, Syria and North Korea.
