Tradition had previously used Bloomberg's own PriceLink contributions add-in for Microsoft Excel to contribute prices directly from dealing desks to the vendor. However, a source familiar with the situation says the broker experienced difficulties with the software, and decided to switch to an alternative solution because it did not have access to Bloomberg's source code to repair the problem.
