TD's Wombat Install Preps Algo Growth
The bank, which has used Wombat's feed handlers to access direct datafeeds from US market centers for several years, recently expanded the number of feed handlers available to include European exchange feeds—potentially for the purpose of using the firm's algorithmic trading models on European exchanges as "a component of a global expansion for TD," says Wombat chief operating officer Danny Moore.
TD officials decline to comment on the bank's plans or agreements with vendors.
