Stock quotes from Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing were temporarily slowed down on Dec. 24 because of the failure of a CPU hardware component of the exchange’s price dissemination system. Following the failure at 11:02 a.m., the recovery was completed at 11:30 a.m. The exchange says brokers were still able to receive latest prices through other functions within the AMS/3 equity trading system.
