ISITC Working Group Makes Strides on Corporate Actions

Standards body ISITC is finalizing a number of initiatives to produce more efficient corporate actions messages.

Tom Brown, senior project manager at Fidelity Investments in Boston and executive sponsor of ISITC's corporate actions working group, says two sessions at last week's ISITC-IOA conference in Chicago saw progress on projects for bulk account messages and pre-advice of payments, as well as the formation of a new group to adapt current corporate actions specifications to new messaging
