The London Stock Exchange has launched a service to automatically collect and distribute company fundamental data to data vendors and Web sites. The exchange is hoping that by providing a greater focus on UK small-cap stocks, it can better compete with UK fundamental data providers.
It has already signed up its first customer for the service: investor Web site MoneyAM, says Rawdon McMaster, product manager responsible for the company fundamental data product at the exchange.
