DLJ Turns to Multicasting For Prices And Risk Management Distribution

NEW YORK--Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) will use reliable multicasting to distribute pricing and risk management information to fixed income traders in New York, other US cities and London, harnessing Orbixtalk from Iona Technologies.
DLJ turned to the object-oriented messaging system because it wanted to build a system that could handle the rapid, simultaneous distribution of information to 100 traders in New York, and more than 20 salesmen in remote offices.
