Reuters In Talks To Redistribute EBS Ticker

LONDON--Reuters is in preliminary discussions with the Electronic Broking Services consortium to carry its Ticker feed of last trade spot foreign exchange prices. Such an agreement would put Reuters in the uncomfortable position of carrying data from a fiercely competitive rival to its own Dealing 2000-2 automated trading service.
