FactSet Integrates Dow Jones IB Content
The new version integrates Dow Jones' news with FactSet's market and fundamental data, by linking the Dow Jones content-delivered via a series of widgets that are integrated locally at users' desktops-to related data from FactSet.
The vendors mapped between their proprietary symbologies so that users can link directly from a mention of a company in a story from Dow Jones to detailed information on that company within FactSet. Seth Cutler, a director within the core application product
