Capital IQ Revamps Comps, Expands Spotfire Visuals
The vendor released the updated platform on Jan. 30, incorporating a more flexible "Comps" tool for comparing companies for valuation purposes. Previously, the platform allowed users to compare a list of 10 companies using a static set of columns, whereas the latest release enables users to compare unlimited companies, and to customize the columns to include their preferred valuation metrics. The new version also allows users to add charts and export the results.
