Connamara Systems released market data feed handlers today for the foreign exchange market, initially covering four FX venues -- Currenex, Hotspot FX, EBS and Lava -- says company founder James Downs.
Downs says Connamara was wary of entering the market data field because of over-saturation, but that clients kept asking for a solution to accompany the operational support that Connamara already provides. It took a designer and engineer six weeks to build the product, dubbed the FX Market Data Adapter Suite.
Downs sits down with Waters news editor Anthony Malakian to discuss how the solution is different from others in the market and who the Chicago-based vendor is targeting with this release.
