FTSE Preps Direct Billing, Reporting for 2011

Index provider FTSE will change its commercial policy on Jan. 1, 2011, and begin directly billing and collecting usage reports from end-user subscribers to its real-time data.

FTSE began communicating the policy change in February to clients and third-party data vendors that had previously been responsible for compiling usage reports from end-users and for billing for data on FTSE's behalf, and has continued to refine its policy over the course of this year based on feedback from those vendors
