VSS Eases Monitoring Integration
San Mateo, Calif.-based traffic capture and infrastructure monitoring vendor VSS Monitoring will this week announce a new API and shared underlying system software, which will make it easier for trading firms and third-party vendors to use VSS’s monitoring tools, while creating a shared infrastructure for tighter integration between the vendor’s systems.
The new API supports SSH (Secure Shell) commands, allowing tighter integration between VSS’s systems and other platforms in use at client sites
