Thomson Reuters Takes ‘Social Pulse’

Thomson Reuters last week unveiled Social Pulse, a new feature on reuters.com that highlights the most talked-about stories among “newsmakers” followed by Reuters’ news staff, and charts intraday stock sentiment based on natural-language processing, dubbed WiseWindow, based on a stock’s share of the social media “voice.” The site also includes the Reuters & Klout 50, which ranks the “most social” company CEOs, and a directory of Reuters’ best tweeters on specific topics.
