CME Preps NY DR Site for Trading, Clearing, Data
CME Group plans to open a backup datacenter in New York by the end of this year that will provide disaster recovery capabilities for its trading, clearing and market data systems in the event of an outage affecting its three existing datacenters in the greater Chicago area.
The exchange began building the facility at its 1, North End Avenue building in Manhattan—the former New York Mercantile Exchange building, which already has two floors of datacenter space and UPS (uninterruptible power
