Thomson Reuters ‘Psychs’ Algo News
Thomson Reuters has added behavioral analysis to its machine-readable news service via the creation of the Thomson Reuters MarketPsych Indexes (TRMIs), developed in partnership with Los Angeles-based behavioral finance and analysis provider MarketPsych, which will enable trading firms to quantify and harness human emotion and sentiment from news and social media posts as an input to their investment strategies.
