HKEx, Shanghai, Shenzhen Prep Index Joint Venture
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing has announced plans to set up a joint venture company with the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges that will develop and license index-linked and equity derivative products, along with a family of indexes comprising companies listed on the three exchanges, and an industry classification, to promote the international development of the markets.
The exchanges aim to launch the joint venture company within the next three months, and to launch cross-border indexes
