Cinnober, a Swedish provider of trading and data dissemination platforms to exchanges and electronic marketplaces, has promoted industry veteran Ulf Axman to head of sales.
Axman, who joined the vendor as sales executive last summer (IMD, June 6, 2011), has also held sales roles at other exchange platform providers, including Chi-X Global Technology, NYSE Euronext, OMX, which he joined following its purchase of Australian markets technology vendor Computershare, which in turn had acquired EFA Software, where he was senior sales executive.
Axman takes over the role of head of sales vacated by Veronica Augustsson, who was promoted to chief executive last month.
