London-based hedge fund Asperatus Capital has rolled out hardware-accelerated feed handlers from French FPGA data technology provider NovaSparks, provided as a managed service from UK-based low-latency data infrastructure, trading and risk technology vendor Fixnetix. Asperatus was already a long-time customer of Fixnetix (IMD, Nov. 6, 2010), which entered into a partnership with NovaSparks earlier this year to provide customers with low-latency feed handlers as a managed service offering lower total cost of ownership (IMD, April 2).
