Interactive Data has hired industry veteran Jim Moock in New York and Daren Robson in London as commodities and energy product managers for the Americas and the EMEA region, both reporting to Tom Mallon, global director of energy and commodities at the vendor, to support the expansion of its FutureSource data display and analytics business.
Moock previously spent 14 years at data, charting and trading technology provider CQG, most recently as director of business development, prior to which he was an institutional salesperson and fixed income product manager at Knight-Ridder Financial and Bridge Information Systems.
Robson previously spent 12 years at Thomson Reuters, where he held product management roles covering derivatives and commodities, prior to which he spent 10 years in various roles at agricultural commodities trading and manufacturing firm Cargill.
