Equilend, which provides a trading platform for securities finance and post-trade operations software, has launched a securities lending data division, dubbed DataLend, which the vendor says will produce high-integrity data based on information sourced from the largest players in the securities finance industry, including its shareholders, which comprise 10 top-tier financial institutions.
The vendor originally developed a datafeed and user interface in late 2011. Now, DataLend offers a data dashboard, security search, daily inventory report, daily variance by organization, an aggregate security list page, beneficial owner reporting, and DataTrack, which provides quick access to watchlists of securities and their "on-loan" metrics.
