SIFMA Cries Foul to SEC Over UTP Tape C Fee Hike
The US Securities and Exchange Commission has approved a 25 percent price increase for consolidated top of book data for Nasdaq-listed securities traded on US exchanges, known as Tape C, despite receiving a letter of complaint from industry body the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association calling for the federal body to reject the fee.
In the letter filed to the SEC on March 28, SIFMA urges the SEC to declare the proposed professional Level 1 monthly fee increase from $20 to $25
