Markit Nabs SunGard's Serynek for Japan Role
Markit has hired Matthew Serynek in Japan as managing director and head of Japanese operations, responsible for growing the vendor's business and developing new relationships in Japan, as well as for day-to-day running of the vendor's Tokyo office.
Prior to joining Markit, Serynek held various roles at SunGard, where he spent 13 years, mostly recently as president of SunGard Japan, overseeing direct sales, business development, customer retention and strategic product investments.
