Bloomberg Moves to Curb IM Connectivity
Currently, users must be permissioned by Bloomberg to connect to AOL and Yahoo via the vendor’s Instant Bloomberg messaging network, which is used by more than 315,000 financial and business professional users. Once permissioned, Professional users become federated to the third-party platforms, which means they can use their Bloomberg login to access AOL and Yahoo’s IM networks, without needing to set up new IM accounts.
However, sources say Bloomberg is removing the ability for clients to use
