At the same time, OpenGamma has promoted chief operating officer Peter Rippon to CEO, while former CEO Mas Nakachi becomes vice chairman. Rippon joined the vendor in 2014 after 15 years at SunGard. Founder Kirk Wylie, who had served as CEO and chairman, has left the company, officials confirm.

Rippon says the funding will allow OpenGamma to build on its foundations of building innovative technology solutions to become "a world-class... provider of benchmark industry solutions."
