Direct Edge Expands 29West Messaging
Steven Bonanno, chief technology officer at Direct Edge, says the ECN reached agreement with 29West in March to roll out its UME (Ultra Messaging for the Enterprise) platform as the middleware backbone for its next-generation exchange platform, to support its trading and data distribution systems as volumes continue to grow.
