After years of research, the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Council will soon release key elements of its work on semantics. David Newman, San Francisco-based chair of the EDM Council's semantic technology program, and senior vice president, strategic planning manager, enterprise architecture at Wells Fargo, is confident the council's work will lead to operational benefits for the industry.
