ISO Reconvenes ISIN Working Group 1

Zurich - Sub-committee 4 (SC4) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has asked Working Group 1 (WG1), covering international securities identification numbers (ISINs), to reconvene and focus on the technical elements of identification, Inside Reference Data has learned.

The group, which stopped its activities around a year ago when the last convenor resigned, used to focus more on ISIN licensing issues. Instead, the new group has now been asked to provide a committee draft
