WM Datenservice Prepares for 2009 Tax Change in Germany

LONDON - Frankfurt-based financial information provider WM Datenservice will introduce a new data feed in October 2008 to help customers deal with the new Flat Rate Withholding Tax Act, which will be introduced in Germany on January 1, 2009, officials tell Inside Reference Data.

The new act will create a major challenge for fund companies and lead to significant reporting changes, according to speakers at the first WM Datenservice road show in London in June.
