HSBC Expands ISD to Cover Global Client Data

LONDON - HSBC has included reference data in the massive multi-year information technology overhaul at its Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets (CIBM) division. The bank is creating a centralized global repository for client static data by expanding its ISD ('Investment Banking and Markets' Static Data) database.

The expansion of the ISD is part of a new reference data strategy and operating model for customer and instrument static data spearheaded by Steve Barley, global head of reference
