IRS Fills In Fatca Details
The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has extended its deadline to April 12 for inclusion on its foreign financial institutions (FFIs) list under the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (Fatca).
The IRS FFI list is expected to be issued June 2, in preparation for the July 1 start of withholding under Fatca.
On April 2, the IRS announced that 19 new intergovernmental agreements (IGAs) were in effect, bringing to 45 the number of countries with IGAs for Fatca compliance. In addition, on March 30
