LEI Common File Format Published
Pre-local operating units (pre-LOUs) have been given until August 19 to adopt a new common data file format for the pre-legal entity identifiers (pre-LEIs) and reference data they issue.
The technical specifications of the file format (which can be found here) include the semantic content of the attributes of the ISO 17442 LEI standard and additional information, such as the status of a pre-LEI.
The common file format was developed by the Committee on Evaluation and Standards, in consultation
