GLEIF Sets Fees For LEI Licensing
The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) has set license fees for legal entity identifiers (LEI), which will be used to fund the central operating unit (COU) administering them.
The member credit fee is in effect a loan by filers that creates a financial reserve for the GLEIF, which will be repaid to local operating units with interest once the global LEI system becomes more stable, according to Jefferson Braswell, partner at technology consultancy Tahoe Blue and a member of GLEIF's
