The scorecards cover 10,000 SMEs and are designed to evaluate the credit worthiness of enterprises. S&P Capital IQ has provided the scorecards previously, but this is the first time the vendor has included weights for women-owned SMEs in emerging markets.
The cards are updated annually and include the key risk factors associated with each lender—such as country risk, industry risk, competitiveness, management and financial risk—weighed against discriminatory factors such as gender and where the
