Ipreo Buys Shareholder InSite to Build Private Company Dataset for Private Equity Markets
Shareholder InSite employs around 40 staff at its office in Nashville, Tenn., mainly in development and support roles, who will become Ipreo employees, with the company and its Qval and CapControls products─a valuation tool for private assets aimed at institutional investors, and a shareholder administration tool aimed at privately held companies, respectively─being rebranded as the Alternative Assets business of Ipreo. Ipreo's other divisions are Research, Sales and Trading; Capital Markets
