Reuters' Reorg In The Americas Aims To Cut Costs, Streamline Ops; Management Changes Also Abound

Though clearly a part of the larger picture, Reuters America Holdings has undergone its own restructuring, designed to streamline operations and establish cost based management on a regional basis. The moves in the US come at a time when Reuters is investing heavily in its new 3000 series product line.
