The KY3P data hub, released last October, centralizes data on vendors and service providers, helping the buy side to manage third-party risk, including due diligence and monitoring. It's not just a box-checking exercise, says Gina Ghent, head of Markit KY3P; there are requirements to get critical information from clients themselves.
Markit asked its users a simple question: "What keeps you up at night?"
In response, clients cited vendor due diligence as a complex and frustrating issue to deal
