Gold-i has offices in Britain, Denmark and Japan.

Gold-i has announced that its flagship product for the MetaTrader platform has been extended to cover asset classes outside of foreign exchange (FX).

The Gold-i Gate Bridge now allows for trading in equities, futures, options, contracts for difference (CFDs) and indices, as well as FX, in MetaTrader 4 or 5. The product was developed in conjunction with Fastfill, LMAX, PAT system and SunGard's GL Trade.

"Up until now, banks and brokers have used the Gold-i Gate Bridge as the most effective and cost efficient means of connecting MetaTrader, the world's most popular FX trading platform, to external or internal liquidity providers," says Tom Higgins, CEO at Gold-i. "Transforming MetaTrader into a multi-asset trading platform opens up a wealth of opportunities for brokers to grow their business amongst existing traders and also to attract new clients."
