Saxo Capital Markets Appoints UK Chairman

Saxo Capital Markets UK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saxo Bank, has appointed Nick Beecroft as its chairman of the board.

Beecroft, who has been a senior markets analyst at Saxo since 2009, will now be responsible for the development and performance of the UK subsidiary. Previously, he held senior global markets positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank and Citibank.

"As the wholly-owned UK subsidiary of Saxo Bank, we have grown to become experts in foreign exchange and multi-asset trading," says Torben Kaaber, CEO at Saxo Capital Markets UK. "With Nick's market knowledge and know-how, we can further develop the business and satisfy our clients."
