Rani Gu has taken charge of HSBC's global payments and cash management's financial institutions group in China.
Gu, who has spent the past seven years at Citi, rejoins HSBC, having previously worked as part of the payments and cash management product management team.
Gu will be based in Shanghai and will report to Kee Joo Wong, head of payments and cash management in China.
