Technology vendor Calypso has announced the appointment of David Kelly as its director of financial engineering.
Most recently, Kelly was the director of credit product development at risk management provider Quantifi, however his career spans roles across the sell and buy sides.
Before moving to the vendor sector, Kelly was a senior trader on Citigroup's credit valuation adjustment (CVA) desk, and the former head of the global analytics group at JPMorgan Chase, where he helped to develop the first CVA pricing and risk management system at the bulge bracket's credit portfolio trading operation. His buy-side experience includes a stint as the chief risk officer of a hedge fund.
In his new post, Kelly will be reporting to Tej Sidhu, SVP of Engineering at Calypso.
